Oxygen, our life source.

Oxygen is the most important thing to our body. We can last days without water and months without food, but only minutes without oxygen. This critical chemical element is vital for our body in so many ways. It is used to oxidize our food, also in the process of cellular respiration, thus releasing energy which is eventually stored in ATP in the electron transport chain in mitochondria, in short it gives energy to our cells to work. Almost all the operations of your body depend on oxygen. Our lymph nodes work hand in hand with the oxygen in our body, the lymph nodes catch onto bad cells, like bacteria, viruses, and toxins and disposes of these cells through the blood stream that exchanges these cells at the capillaries and out through the respiratory system. This being said, it is extremely important that our oxygen travels all through our bodies so it can energize and clean the body.


How do we get the oxygen to move through our body??? By MOVEMENT


When we exercise, we force the blood (which carries the oxygen) to move into all the corners of the body, cleaning the body of carbon dioxide and all those bad cells the lymph nodes caught. In short, the body needs to exercise to clean itself. But please also note that exercising too hard can create acid in your body and exercising too hard and too often will over stress your body, the opposite of what you are trying to achieve. A well-designed workout plan that takes into consideration the importance of oxygen and the ATP systems is critical to achieving good health. A workout plan that is centered on your health, your needs, your enjoyment and your goals is what I strive to deliver when I design a plan suited just for you. Your health is a balance and knowing what is important to your body is the first step in the right direction. I look forward to learning more about you in the future.
