Day 17 – Gratitude

Progress:
I’m on track with my weight loss, at 161lbs now, its feeling slow but I’m feeling good along the way and that’s my focus. I have had a couple craving moments but I remind myself how much better I will feel in the long run without that crap in my system. And that it is a short-term fix that will make things even harder tomorrow with worse cravings. And of course, I bring to mind my “why” and that helps a whole bunch.
Being grateful is so important for every aspect of your life, and essential when you are working towards a goal. You have to be grateful for all your small successes along the way. The road is not easy and we don’t seem to appreciate things that come with ease. When something falls into our lap, we take things for granted. If we work hard for something, I think we become more grateful for it. When you start to be thankful for the things around you and your small steps of progress, you then attack more of it.
